Public Media Camp

When NPR and PBS began thinking about how to strengthen the relationship between public broadcasters and their communities, they turned to ISL. We’ve developed a framework that served as a guide for local market public broadcasters across the country to use for engaging their talented citizens to not only foster dialogue but, even better, to build something together.

Together we created PublicMediaCamp – an unconference that began as a national event in DC and spread out across the country to 25+ locations. A detailed field guide was developed for public media staff to use in setting up their own camps – more here.
