For an 800 person DC Tech Meetup we created a custom Grandstand game board that encouraged the audience of to check-in to the event on Foursquare, rewarding with the crowd with the world’s greatest incentive… free beer.

Each check-in progressively filled up the digital pint glass unlocking a bigger bar tab at the happy hour after the event.  It worked.  Within 90 seconds we blew past 150 check-ins, unlocking $1,000 in free beer for the crowd.
